From 10 April 2025, TRELO service centres began offering maintenance for “Schmitz Cargobull” refrigeration units. We provide all certification services in accordance with the relevant standards:
• We certify refrigeration units in accordance with the Chemicals and Climate Protection Act and EU No. 517/2014 standard (performed every 12 months).
• We certify the Schmitz Cargobull One Wire thermograph in accordance with DIN EN 13486 (every 12 months).
• We certify the Euroscan thermograph according to DIN EN 13486 (every 12 months).
The service is available at the following locations: Genk, Viersen, Antwerp, Metz, Lyon.
What services are provided?
Every 1,500 operating hours or every 12 months
- Operational check of the unit.
- Refrigerant leak test.
- Temperature sensor calibration.
- Software update.
- Recommended: Evaporator disinfection (for food transport)
Duration: ~170 min.
Every 3,000 operating hours or every 24 months
- Operational check.
- Replacement of air, oil, and fuel filters.
- Engine oil change.
- Software update.
Duration: ~190 min.
If combined with the 1,500 h service: ~90 min.
Every 6,000 operating hours or every 48 months
- All 3,000 h service tasks.
- Coolant replacement.
- Water-pump belt replacement.
- For PERKINS engines: Valve adjustment (+1.5 h)
Duration: ~235 min.
If combined with the 1,500 h service: ~135 min.
Additional services under a Full Service contract
- Water pump replacement.
- Coolant reservoir replacement.
- Battery replacement.
- Fan replacement.
- Condenser and evaporator washing with disinfection (at least once every 12 months).
