The best prevention against serious and expensive repairs is to have your vehicle inspected

Some vehicle malfunctions can be prevented by regular inspections. At TRELO service centers, we offer our customers two types of inspections: an initial free visual inspection and a detailed 95-point vehicle inspection, which is almost 100% equivalent to a technical inspection.

Free inspection

The initial visual inspection is performed at our service centers in Genk, Viersen, and Lithuania. We can offer a visual inspection of the vehicle to all our customers who come to us for other services. Our mechanics inspect the car and visually check the lighting, brakes, whether there are any fluid leaks, whether there are any visible damage to the body, etc. Any defects found are described and presented as additional comments together with photos. Once the customer has agreed and approved, the repair work is carried out. Our experience shows that a visual inspection allows faults to be detected at an early stage, thus saving the customer from more serious faults that can be very costly to repair.

Paid inspection

When it’s time for a technical inspection, you can first come to our service centers, where we will perform a detailed 95-point check, during which we will thoroughly inspect your truck and trailer. External inspection (body, mirrors, etc.).

  • Tire wear and damage.
  • Check the operation of the clearance lighting.
  • Checks in the cab.
  • Check from the “pit” (fluid leaks).
  • Brake systems.
  • Chassis check.

We recommend performing a check before going for a technical inspection, as such a check is a preventive measure against serious malfunctions that may occur on the road and result not only in repair costs, but also in increased costs for the company due to delayed deliveries.

Why is it worth coming in for a preventive check-up?

  • All faults cost money, but they can cost less if they are detected in time. In fact, regular inspections can reduce repair costs. During inspections, complex faults can be detected earlier, thus avoiding breakdowns on the road when they are least needed.
  • Faults detected earlier reduce the likelihood of accidents. You are protecting not only the vehicle, but also your employees.
  • A well-maintained truck is more likely to reach its destination on time, and your company will avoid losses.
  • A well-maintained truck increases customer confidence and improves your company’s reputation.
